negative:
No matter how amazing something is there is always going to be problems and people who do not like it. Some schools are finding concerns with implementing 1:1 because some see buying each student a laptop a huge expense and wonder if the benefits will out weigh the costs. Some schools that implemented 1:1 has dropped the program because they only saw negative results and not any positive. Moving to 1:1 includes a lot of time, money and resources by the district, the teachers and even the students and their guardians. Teachers are given minimal training before and once it is implemented, and while the voting process is going on teachers have no input on the decision making process.
